For the nearly two years I worked at Capital One, I wrote advertising and servicing emails and copy that lived in various places around the company website. We focused on people who were savvy about their credit card use and spent regularly.

We reminded them about bonus offers, congratulated them for earning rewards, informed them of new ways to use those rewards, which became very important at the beginning of the pandemic.
